Is it true there is no difference in the flavor when cooking on a gas grill than on a gas stove, you just have grill marks? Can regular charcoal be used with a gas grill?
I have a grill with porcelain covered grates. I have been using a brush with stiff nonmetallic bristles to clean it. I need to replace the brush and all I can find is ones with stainless steel bristles although I understand there are some with brass bristles. The info I have been able to find online seems to indicate that the stainless steel bristles will not damage the porcelain grates. What experiences have you had with the various types of grill brushes?
I live in an apartment. There is a little area where I could use a tabletop charcoal grill, but I’m worried about bringing it back into the apartment when I’m done. (I’m really not interested in a gas grill.) What do people normally do in this situation? Thanks!
This is my first time using the infrared portion of the grill and dont know if I should use the bottom burners in conjunction with the infrared burner or just the infrared.
This is a Norwiegun salmon. I’ve had great luck searing it, then finishing in the oven, but my experience with grilling any flesh that doesn’t have marbled fat, is that the flavor and moisture gets sucked out on the grill.
I was moving an outdoor grill a few days ago for a friend and a bunch of grill grease got onto the front part of one of the shoes from lifting part of the frame with my foot.
Normally I would care less, but my issue is that it’s still getting through to my socks.
What is the best method & products to clean them. They are standard tennis shoes: Asics Nimbus 9′s to be exact.
Thanks.
I’ve been craving grilled chicken for a while but my grill is on the fritz.
Is it possible to grill chicken in the oven or on the stove? How do you do it?
I live in an apartment so I don’t have a lot of extra room, but I’m looking for a handy little fold away grill (probably propane) to cook on patio on the weekend. I’ve searched the web, but can’t ting a cheaper one that won’t fall apart after two uses. Does anybody have a grill like this?

I’d like to buy a reversible grill/griddle pan, but I’m getting the idea that they are not suitable for use on a glass top stove. True or not?
